Gabriel Paschal Blake

Letterkenny born songwriter, Gabriel Paschal Blake, lays bare his personal world in the wake of loss. An ode to grief and the absurdity of the life it creates, his work explores the disorientation of carrying on, threaded through with friendship, innocence and unexpected moments of beauty.

His dark, confessional lyrics lay beneath chirping guitars, euphoric melodies and haunting harmonies, holding despair and tenderness in uneasy balance. Moving between folky intimacy and cinematic arrangements, Blake transforms deeply personal experiences into something universal, capturing the contradictions of grief without losing sight of the light.

This vision extends into his self-directed video for ‘Everythin’ About You’, where grief, joy and innocence collide in a story inspired by real events.

His work is less about finding closure than learning to live with what remains.
