Nimino

​​nimino is one of the most exciting names in electronic music. His 2024 hit I Only Smoke When I Drink has surpassed 250 million streams, charted on the UK Singles Chart, and spent over 20 weeks on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Chart. He followed I Only Smoke When I Drink with his Creek EP in March 2025, which was then followed by a series of notable single releases. nimino has performed at major festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Leeds Fest, Boomtown, Field Day, Cercle, CRSSD, and Lightning in a Bottle, as well as sold-out headline shows at venues globally. He is signed to Ninja Tune’s Counter Records. Before he began releasing and performing music under the moniker nimino, Milo Evans’ musical journey started in his teenage years growing up in the UK as a way to channel his ADHD.

That track, Opening Credits, released in 2022, quickly became a fan favorite. Since then, nimino has released several singles and an EP, with each new release continuing the journey of the nimino character through its artwork. “The nimino character symbolizes the journey my musical tastes have taken—more so by the environments he’s ended up in through no choice of his own. The travels he goes on accompany the music I’m making, and vice versa, but he’s also sort of nothing to do with me personally—just a little guy on an expedition through different spaces, discovering different sounds.”
